Restaurant that serve Authentic and Exotic food (Blog #6)

A lot of Filipino love to eat exotic and authentic foods or dishes even though the taste of it is strange and it looks weird. We all know that everyone loves food and some of us will travel far just to eat and explore new taste. Like my family loves to eat and try new especially exotic, authentic, and native foods or dishes.

We found a restaurant that serves an authentic and exotic dish here in Clark and this is our favorite restaurant. We are always here to eat even with an occasion or an ordinary day because my family always want to eat exotic foods. This restaurant named mata-ih located in Clark freeport zone. Matam-ih is an aeta dialect that means delicious.

I will share my experience here in matam ih as first time to eat an exotic food and the first one is betute it is a fried frog stuffed with ground pork. At first, I don’t want to try it but at the end I tried it I like the taste of it, it like a fried chicken but it is better than fried chicken.

The second one that I tried is adobo Camaru or mole crickets is an insect that usually will see in Pampanga. I only tried it once and I don’t know how to describe the taste of it because for me it is crunchy and weird. But my mom and dad love it and they always order camaru every time we dine in matam-ih.

I also recommend their authentic Kapampangan dishes like pork sisig, kare-kare, and my all-time favorite is bistek bangus belly. They also offer croco sisig, caldareta duck, and other exotic foods.
